Turning Pain into Purpose

My journey to writing for widows and caregivers began with a profound personal loss. After dedicating 2.5 years to caring for my husband through hospice, I found myself functionally frozen for over a month after his passing. Having been a wife for 52 years and a full-time caregiver, I wrestled with my identity and felt incredibly alone in my grief. This experience ignited a deep desire to ensure other caregivers and widows feel seen, heard, and understood, turning my pain into a powerful purpose.

My message: grieving and living again

Through my books, I hope to convey a crucial message: grief is not linear. There will be good days and bad, and that is perfectly normal. My greatest hope is for readers to discover how to live again, to carry love forward, and to find a renewed sense of purpose even amidst their sorrow. It's about navigating the complexities of loss while embracing the possibility of a hopeful future.

My writing style: honest, conversational, and direct

My writing style is emotionally honest. I don't write to impress; I write to tell the truth as I've lived it. Even when discussing painful subjects, you'll find reflection rather than self-pity. My approach is conversational, making readers feel as if we are sitting across a kitchen table with a cup of coffee, sharing stories. I am direct, stating my beliefs plainly without dancing around the point, ensuring a clear and comforting connection with every reader.

"Her books are a beacon of hope and understanding for anyone navigating the difficult journey of grief and loss."
